Analisis Kasus Hipertensi Di Provinsi Aceh Tahun 2022

Abstract

Hypertension is a significant global health problem and a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly among adult and elderly populations. This study analyzes the prevalence and coverage of healthcare services for patients with hypertension in Aceh Province in 2022. Using a public health surveillance method, this study examined data obtained from the Aceh Health Office. The results showed that the prevalence of hypertension in Aceh reached 1,299,415 cases, with only 38.29% of patients receiving healthcare services according to standard guidelines. There were disparities in access to healthcare services between regions with the highest coverage, such as Langsa City (86.98%), and those with the lowest coverage, such as Aceh Singkil Regency (2.07%). Factors influencing these disparities include accessibility, availability of resources, public awareness, and local health policies. Efforts are needed to improve healthcare facilities, enhance public education, and provide training for healthcare workers to expand service coverage and reduce the prevalence of hypertension in Aceh, thereby improving the quality of life of the
