Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains prevalent in Indonesia and has long-term impacts on the quality of human resources. One of the efforts to prevent stunting is by increasing the knowledge of pregnant women through effective educational media, such as audio-visual media.Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of audio-visual media on the knowledge of pregnant women regarding stunting prevention at Jeuram Community Health Center, Nagan Raya Regency. Methods: This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 35 pregnant women selected using total sampling technique. The intervention involved education using audio-visual media for 10 days. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The average knowledge score before the intervention was 13.49, which increased to 16.46 after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect of audio-visual media on improving the knowledge of pregnant women. Conclusion: Audio-visual media is effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in preventing stunting.
